A Day in the LifeWe are looking for an enthusiastic intern to support our Digital Health team in optimizing healthcare processes through digital solutions. This role is ideal for someone interested in gaining experience in healthcare technology, data management, in the Portuguese hospital ecosystem and project coordination. The intern will assist the team with various tasks, contributing to the success of ongoing projects while gaining valuable knowledge and skills.
Internship details:
- Start date: 1 st May 2025
- Duration: 12 months
- Work model: hybrid with on-site support
- Based in: Lisbon
- Working time: 40 hours per week from 9 am to 5 pm
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Technical Support:
- Assist in the digitalization of healthcare processes , collaborating with the team to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes.
- Support the creation of dashboards with impact indicators to facilitate decision-making for hospitals.
- Help in generating results reports , consolidating information for the patient population included in the Remote Support and Monitoring Center.
- Aid in monitoring patient adherence to remote monitoring programs under the guidance of senior team members.
- Assist in verifying triage processes to ensure information received from patients is handled according to the designed protocol.
- Provide support in resolving technical issues related to the digital platform by working closely with the technical team.
Administrative Assistance:
- Help manage the scheduling of tasks that patients must perform in the app.
- Assist in contacting patients in Portuguese to:
- Encourage patient adherence to the program.
- Help resolve technical issues.
- Provide support in completing questionnaires.
- Serve as a supporting point of contact for hospitals requiring technical assistance, under supervision.
- Contribute to the preparation of progress reports for ongoing projects.
General Support:
- Assist in managing different databases related to digital health projects.
- Provide support to the Digital Health team in various projects across different medical conditions.
- Help with project documentation management , ensuring all materials are well-organized and up to date.
- Assist in preparing meetings for different projects, including preparing presentation materials and coordinating logistics.
Required Knowledge:
- Recently graduated with min bachelor’s degree or finishing Master Degree in Health Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or similar
- Fluent in Portuguese
- Fluent in English
- Interest in digital health, healthcare technology, and data management.
- Basic knowledge of digital platforms and data analysis tools is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proactive and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
Would be a plus:
- Spanish language
