JOB DESCRIPTION
As IT Functional consultant, you will be involved in the GCR’s Center Of Excellence team specialized in "collaborative platform for shared supply management" domain.
Working directly with European and North American markets, you ensure the functional support (Level 3) in the implementation, run control and maintenance of solutions in our clients.
Depending on needs, you ensure the project management for the account of the BUs.
Your interlocutors are Support (Level 2) team, Professional Services (consultants and project leaders), Product Delivery (R&D, QA and OPS teams), Sales team and clients.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Main Support activities:
- Ensure the functional support L3 (ITSM Level) through tickets and clients contacts;
- Train Level 1 and Level 2 support teams (some months in your job);
- Analyse and formalise the client’s expected functional scope (pre scoping with clients);
- Perform "simple" technical tasks (after training): data extraction / screen modifications / implementation of interfaces;
- Perform monthly support performance analysis.
2. Client relationship activities:
- Coordinate, track, and support version upgrades for each client;
- Ensure update of customer data in client database and client DEX (EXploitation Document);
- Ensure the right information sharing between parties (support, ACV, commercial teams);
- Transfer business opportunities to Sales Teams in BU (Business Units), when clients express a need through support contacts.
3. Project leadership activities:
- Support BU project managers (functional L3, operational issues and training);
- Develop knowledge on GCR application and related systems;
- Lead projects as project manager for BUs (at their request) with supporting document and format (Project Quality Plan, meetings animation);
- Analyze and formalize target functional perimeter expected by the customer through workshops;
- Be a force of proposal on customer business activities and recommend improvement;
- Write detailed functional specifications and get customer validation;
- Support discussions with functional consultants and R&D team;
- Perform application set up;
- Ensure customer training;
- Assist customer during UAT (User Acceptance Test) phase;
- Assist customer during deployment (go live and hypercare);
- Ensure competency transfer to customer team;
- Inform project director and BU if perimeter defined is not respected.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics or similar;
- Ideally, a first experience in Support L3 Team, IT consulting or in contact with client - flow control, inventory optimization, sales forecasts, or even the development of replenishment plans (GPA, KANBAN, FIFO);
- Soft Skills: curiosity to learn new management tools, good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to manage priorities;
- Likes to find root causes of problem and to solve complex problems;
- Know how of informatic tools (Microsoft Office);
- Basic notions of SQL and Java are a plus;
- Fluency in English is mandatory;
- Advanced level in French is a real advantage;
- Availability to travel, if needed.
