Global Mobility Team Leader

About the job
Belonging to GASC (Global Assignment Steering Center), your mission as Global mobility team leader will be to supervise and coordinate the team in charge of policy and procedures, vendor management, and technology for the Group.
Your Main Activities Are
- Policies and procedures (long-term, short-term assignments, ?)
- Oversee the review, update and ensure Group-wide application of Group policies and procedures, including the exception validation process
- Oversee internal and external benchmark surveys (e.g. via CINDEX)
- Ensure the management of all internal documents
- Vendor management
- Oversee the management and development of existing vendors relations and service levels (e.g. tax provider, health insurance, relocation company, ?)
- Explore possibilities for new partnerships / services and lead RFPs (in partnership with Group Procurement) as required
- Ensure respect of contractual terms; monitor SLAs and KPIs
- Ensure smooth internal application and daily running of vendor services
- Technology
- Oversee the management of existing technology and explore possibilities for future developments and enhancements of the existing one in partnership with Group IT
- Manage relation with current external tool vendor
- Oversee internal referential data updates and ensure alignment with Group policies
- Oversee the test of new country tax releases / upgrades
- Oversee data consistency / quality and manage reporting and data analytics as and when required
- Be the first point of contact for escalated queries relating to the team?s activity
- Ensure Group internal compliance requirements are respected at all times
- Collaborate with other members of the department or external parties as required
- GASC teams and broader global mobility HR teams elsewhere in the Group around the world (e.g. UK, France, US and HK HUBs)
- Group (Paris) Procurement, IT, Security, ?
- Occasional contact with other internal functions (legal, accounts, compliance, data security teams, risk and permanent control, ?)
- Occasional contact with external parties (legal / tax advisors, ?)
Profile and Skills to Success
- Minimum 5 years? work experience, ideally within an in-house function
- Knowledge of taxation and social security for international employees is an advantage
- Management experience of a small team
Skills and qualifications
- University degree
- Fluent in English (both in written and spoken), French is an advantage
- Developed MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent spoken and written communication
- Ability to work methodically and oversee a variety of tasks and team activities
- Attention to detail / rigor
- Autonomous, confident and proactive
