ASSOCIATE DATA ENGINEER
WHAT WILL YOU DO
The Global Value & Access DTI (Digital, Technology and Innovation) organization, part of the GCO DTI (Global Commercial DTI organization), is responsible
The Global Value & Access DTI (Digital, Technology and Innovation) organization, part of the GCODTI (Global Commercial DTI organization), is responsible for partnering with the Global Value & Access Team, defining and executing the IS Strategy supporting their journey to drive execution excellence and continuous improvement in four key areas: shape access environment, define a world class access strategy, drive new access capabilities and govern prices. As part of this team you will work closely with business stakeholders and business analyst to understand the requirement, develop data flow pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various data sources in various data format to enterprise data lake and data warehouse system, provide data analytics and develop/maintain Tableau dashboards to business users. This role will work with business as well as with other DTI teams and is key for the success to deliver on the business priorities. In this role you will:
Be a key team member assisting in design and development of the data pipeline for the Global Value and Access organization.
Collaborate with Data Architects, Business SME?s, and Data Scientists to design and develop end-to-end data pipeline to meet fast paced business need across geographic regions.
Serve as system admin to manage AWS and Databricks platform.
Adhere to best practices for coding, testing and designing reusable code/component.
Able to explore new tools, technologies that will help to improve ETL platform performance.
Participate in sprint planning meetings and provide estimations on technical implementation.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with the product teams.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

Basic Qualifications
Master?s degree
OR
Bachelor?s degree and 2 years of relevant experience
OR
Associate?s degree and 6 years of relevant experience
Or
High school diploma / GED and 8 years of relevant
Experience with software development (Java, Python preferred), end-to-end system design
Experience with data modeling, hands-on experience with SQL, preferred Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Hive SQL; SQL performance tuning
Experience with web development, java script, html, CSS, any web framework or microservice architecture
Experience with software DevOps CI/CD tools, such Git, Jenkins
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience on AWS, familiar with EC2, S3, Redshift/Spectrum, Glue, Athena, RDS, Lambda, DynamoDB, and API gateway
Experience with Tableau Dashboard and Tableau Server
Experience of the pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech or general healthcare industries is an advantage
Familiarity with Agile
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with complex technologies
Experience in complex enterprise environments
