Sales Development Representative Full-time

Your mission




Your Responsabilities


As Sales Development Representative, you will?
An important part of Lovys growth comes from Partnerships with big, medium and small companies that sell our products, in multiple different ways. We have currently more than 80 partners and we want that number to grow (by a lot!).
Your main goals will be:




  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets.

  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage other team members for next steps.

  • Implement best practices to refine the company?s lead generation playbook (better identify and qualify prospects and decision-makers, improve sales pitch and demos, update pipeline and monitor results)



Your profile


About you
You are a quick learner with effective communication skills and have the ability to showcase Lovys solutions in a compelling way. You do not see companies, you see only potential opportunities for you to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.
You are autonomous, you know how to manage your day and your activity.
As the first line of communication with prospects, you will have to learn a bit about insurance, insurtech and our integration technologies ? for which we do not require previous experience.
You will need to have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success ? for which we require previous experience.
Your (unique) skills and qualifications




  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Business Development / Sales.

  • Persuasive communication skills via phone and email, but also on meetings (in presence and remote) with both small and big groups.

  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.

  • You love to pitch. You do not mind getting no for an answer. You are not afraid to pick up the phone!

  • You speak French at a native or almost-native level. You speak English fluently.



That little extra we will value


  • Your experience in sales was in either within Insurance, Banking or Fintech.

  • You also speak Spanish!

  • Proficiency with HubSpot or similar. Experience with Lusha or similar.



Further information


How a normal day will look like




  • Utilize HubSpot, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities.

  • Organize meetings with prospects to pitch those Lovys, suggesting tailored solutions to their needs.

  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.

  • Report to management with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.

  • Learn about and be exposed to the whole sales process (we share a lot with each other).

Your future manager will be Gonçalo Parreira, VP of Partnerships.

His background

Gonçalo has a vast experience in Insurance and Business Development. He worked at Willis Towers Watson, Mercer, BNP Paribas amongst others.

Our hiring process

You can expect a 3 to 5 interviews, depending on the several variables of the recruitment process (ex. we tend to do more interviews if we feel the candidate had not had the right opportunities to show a specific skill set). A case study is also included in the process.

30-45 min video call with HR

We try to get to know your past experiences, while assessing your motivation and cultural fit with the company. Bring questions about Lovys as a whole and the way we work.

45-60 min video call with your future manager

We assess your past experiences from a more technical standpoint. You are expected to share concrete results and dive into more detail.

A remote exercise

Expect an exercise remarkably similar to what you would be doing if hired. This is also meant to give you a glimpse of how you would be spending your time with us.

Video calls or onsite interviews with future team members

It is meant to bring a new perspective to the table.

A final /confirmation video call with a Lovys C-Level

It may happen or not depending on how homogeneous is the feedback from different peers.
