What is Savvy?


Savvy is all about pooling and our mission
make sure that no vehicle runs emptier than it should. For that we have built a turnkey software to run demand-responsive transport consisting of a powerful real-time booking and dispatching algorithm, a versatile passenger app, an intuitive driver app, a configurable admin panel backend for operators and dispatchers, as well as a web-booking frontend.

What is the role

• Develop features from backend to frontend on our Savvy Platform


• Maintain Postgres database


• Implement business logic in a Java/Play framework application


• Update React web application and Rest APIs for the frontend application


• Translate requirements into tangible features of our SaaS platform


• Work together with the development team and evangelize good practises

REQUIREMENTS

• You have 2+ years of experience as a software developer


• You have worked for a SaaS company or technology start-up


• You bring a solid understanding of software development principles


• You have experience of rest APIs, Java, SQL, and Web frameworks


• You are proactive and enjoy suggesting improvements


• Your natural focus falls on clean code and automated testing


• You are a team worker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills


• You are fluent in English


• Any other European language is a further plus
