Project Description

We are looking for an Principal Project manager who will set of projects for Ukrainian bank (front-office and back-office systems, currency exchange, processing, reporting, integration solutions, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Building, transforming and scaling teams into larger organization


• Hiring most talented and experienced engineers


• People management being responsible for direct subordinates, their motivation and retention


• Financial management & P&L


• Building efficient communications between distributed development teams


• Maintaining oversight of projects to ensure client satisfaction and building high level relationships.


• Cooperate with admin functions (recruiting, HR, office operations, IT, legal,...) to make sure operations run smoothly


• Being responsible for delivery, providing project updates, working with project risks, issues and escalations

Skills

Must have

• Experience in hiring most talented and experienced engineers


• Experience in people management being responsible for direct subordinates, their motivation and retention


• Experience in financial management, understanding P&L


• Hands-on knowledge of software development life-cycle with proven experience in management in software development industry


• Leadership, influence on people, enthusiastic personality


• Building, transforming and improving teams and larger organizations

Nice to have

Experience in kicking off new projects and build delivery from scratch, hiring most talented and experienced engineers, motivation and retention




• Experience of work in Agile environment
