HR Workforce and Operations Team Lead

ConvaTec is transforming its business services and the processes that underpin them as part of the Pivoting to Growth programme. As part of ConvaTec?s HR Transformation, we are implementing a revised Operating Model for HR, transforming our global HR processes and optimising our HR tools for our customers.
We are now seeking the right person to support the design, establishment, implementation, stabilisation and optimisation of the Workforce Administration and Time and Absence components of this service, preferably based in either Lisbon, Portugal or Bogota, Colombia.
This role represents an exciting and unusual opportunity to be part of the establishment of a new WFA service delivery model at a progressive, ambitious, and innovative organisation, and to participate in key components of the HR Transformation programme.
We are looking for someone with experience of HR service delivery in a global shared services environment with an interest in being part of an HR Transformation programme in a key role who has ambitions to take on a more senior role with additional service delivery, stakeholder management and leadership responsibilities.
Our HR Transformation Programme is well underway, and on assumption of the role the successful candidate will assume a key role in it, initially as the process and data lead for the Workforce Admin , time and absence components, and will then be responsible for the establishment of the service for this key area.
As the Process and Data lead for this area, you will work with the relevant Centres of Expertise (COEs), business and HR representatives to finalise and operationalise future state HR processes for WFA, Time and Absence and then to support the configuration and testing of all IT solutions (Workday and ServiceNow) relevant to execution of processes in this domain.
You will also support change management and training teams to plan and implement the transition of Workforce Administration processes from today?s ways of working to tomorrow?s, including the transition and stabilisation of service delivery of these components.
Partner with key business and programme colleagues on the following:
- Project manage the final design, testing and implementation of the WFA and Time and Absence Service, with the support of the PMO
- Support the build of operational and service management tools to deliver the service
- Work closely with the Change Management team to describe and embed changes to ways of working to make the service successful
- Lead the transition of WFA and Time and Absence services from current to future arrangements
- Manage, review, trouble-shoot and the WFA and Time and Absence Service, embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the new service.
Who are we looking for?
- An experienced HR Solutions and Delivery lead with extensive experience of gathering requirements, configuring and testing WFA and Time and Absence processes, ideally in a shared services context
- Knowledge of process best practice in Workforce Administration, including Organisational Management, Time Tracking and Absence Management, experience of building and/or maintaining and improving best-in-class WFA user journeys
- Team player, able to work with functional specialists and other HR solution leads in defining and delivering people, process and technology dimensions of an HR transformation programme
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to build clear and compelling presentations and able to engage, influence and get buy-in from senior business and HR stakeholders to their work stream designs and plans
- Experience in developing and delivering HR processes in Workday or an equivalent HR Cloud solution highly desirable.
