Full Stack Developer Full-time

We are looking for an Angular developer to work within the Commerce Data Management division within Wunderman Thompson Commerce, where data driven solutions are created that help customers buy what they want, where they want.


Our Purchase Director Product shortens and simplifies customer journeys from any digital channel. So, rather than just hoping that customers remember brand?s marketing efforts, The Purchase Director can refer qualified channel engaged customers directly to purchasing a option, with real-time prices, wherever on the web they?re browsing.


By making any digital engagement shoppable, customers are given a simple route to purchase.


You?ll be working in a small team covering the end of end delivery of the product, including development, operations, project support and QA. The Purchase Director is integrated on hundreds of sites globally and you will be responsible for supporting the existing product?s front end and platform development


This challenging role will require an intelligent candidate with strong front end development skills, with exposure to Django/Python, with a keen attention to detail, strong work ethic and an eagerness to learn.




Responsibilities:



  • Creation and maintenance of Angular apps (using Angular latest version)

  • Creation and maintenance of Angular application integrated with Django Admin Platform

  • Creation of intuitive UI that allow brand managers to create their assets using the Salmon Products and allow easy integration in brand owned sites/assets

  • Creation of front-end apps that provide great consumer journeys, that are both promote the brand and make it easy for consumers to buy what they need

  • Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability

  • Get feedback from, and build, solutions for users and customers

  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies and provide suggestions for the future of the products

  • Excellent knowledge of Angular

  • Excellent knowledge of CSS, HTML and JavaScript

  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks

  • Experience of deploying scalable, responsive, and adaptive web applications

  • Experience of working with web services and data feeds

  • Excellent communication skills and knowledge of English language

  • Proven problem-solving ability

  • Good foundation in OOP

  • Knowledge of Django Admin, Python, Node.js

  • Knowledge of relational and non-relational database

  • Experience with a distributed VCS, particularly git

  • Knowledge of unit testing

  • Knowledge of REST

  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services

  • Understanding and troubleshooting performance issues on Linux systems

  • Educated to degree level, a Computer Science degree being most desirable
