Job Overview

We are a fast growing B-Corp company who strongly believes every single kencko-er we hire is a key part of our shared success. We are now seeking a full-time Stock Specialist to be a part of the team in our Lisbon-Marvila office. This position requires strong teamwork, analytical and critical thinking skills. Plus, a keen ability to plan, organize and prioritize work and communicate effectively.

Main Goals

Ensure we?re never out of stock in any of our product lines used in our various fulfillment centers. This entails growth forecasts and planning stock deliveries accordingly; designing, improving and implementing efficient processes; maximizing stock storage and delivery to reduce costs; and managing a small team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels and warehouse organization at our fulfillment facilities


• Maintain adequate stock organization to ensure all materials are easily accessible, countable and identifiable


• Keep an accurate record of each ins and outs of all stock items


• Ensure all incoming materials go through thorough quantity and quality checks


• Maintain the necessary inventory levels at the warehouse to ensure the fulfillment team has enough stock to meet their needs on a daily basis


• Review and document inventory counts to ensure accuracy within the warehouse


• Maintain auditable records: packing lists, pick lists, blueprints and other paperwork


• Use internal tools to accurately register and communicate issues


• Review and validate product inventory availability and ensure FIFO protocols are maintained


• Ensure we follow HACCP quality standards at our warehouse.


• Communicate and find solutions to inventory related issues


• Identify and implement changes to optimize the warehouse


• Recommend and implement best practices to drive efficiencies and streamline processes


• Train and support new employees and temporary staff in your department


• Partner with the fulfillment team to ensure processes are aligned and communication seamlessly flows


• Embody and promote a healthy working culture that is true to kencko?s values, fostering a sense of teamwork and collaboration

Experience You Bring

• 5+ years of working experience, of which 3+ in warehouse supervision, stock management or oversight of inventory for multiple product lines


• Experience working with Excel/Google Sheets or similar tools including formulas


• Excellent organization and communication skills


• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment


• Comfortable working in an evolving and dynamic environment


• Very strong analytical and logistics skills


• Strong communication and strategic thinking


• Ability to laugh at yourself and at the small day to day things


• Excellent level of spoken and written English


• Fluent in Portuguese


• Ability to work in our Marvila office at least 2 or 3 days per week


• Bonus Points: working with an ERP such as Sage or Netsuite
