Job Overview

We are looking for a talented Web Designer to join our creative team and help take Kencko?s digital brand to the next level. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in relevant roles, a good eye for design (typography, color, layout and structural organization, etc.), and experience applying brand guidelines and developing effective design systems for digital products.

Working closely with the UX/UI and engineering teams, the candidate will take a lead role in translating high-level brand guidelines into beautiful, intuitive, and functional digital experiences.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Conceptualizing creative digital design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks


• Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering

• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and sitemaps to communicate interaction and design ideas


• Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders


• Establish and promote digital design guidelines, best practices and standards working closely with the design team and the overall brand guidelines.

Requirements:

• 
  At least 5 years? proven work experience as a digital designer (web, apps, digitally-enabled retail)


• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio. Good eye for detail, typography, color and space organization.


• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and sitemaps


• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Figma or other visual design and wireframing tools


• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process


• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction


• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively


• Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies


• BS/MS in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or a Visual Arts subject
