We’re seeking a collaborative, mission-aligned R&D Samples Specialist to join our R&D Team!

We transform fresh, organic fruits and veggies into handy single-serving instant smoothies. Each one contains about 80 calories, and gives the same nutritional benefits as 2.5 cups of fresh produce.

Job Overview

We are a fast growing B-Corp startup who strongly believes every single kencko-er we hire is a key part of our shared success. We are now seeking a full-time R&D Sample Specialist to help with efficient, effective, end-to-end Sampling Management, Sourcing, Tracking and Quality Assurance. The R & D Specialist will report to our Director, Product and collaborate with many teams!

Responsibilities

• 
  Procure and organize new raw materials to be trialed


• Procure and manage production samples


• Order, manage, label all stock sampling for the Lab /Pilot Kitchen


• Preparation of sensory tests with a panel of tasters;


• Introduction of Sample Management with the ERP system


• Documentation control regarding samples such as Organic Certification, Technical Data Sheets ,Kosher ,MSDS (material safety data sheet), etc), and ensure all is aligned with the company’s requirements.

Experience You Bring

• 
  2+ years’ experience in a similar role


• Familiarity w/ a Research and Development environment


• Familiarity with tasting and sensory analysis of samples and ingredients


• Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations


• Experience with Sample Management and Tracking


• Proficient with MS Office/Google Tools


• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills


• Outstanding organizational ability


• Ability to lift up to 10kg


• Attention to detail


• A results-driven approach


• English proficiency


• Ability to work from our Marvila office on 4-5 days a week

Nice-To-Haves

• 
  Familiarity with ERP systems


• German, Portugueses or other language skills


• Experience with CPG brands


• Familiarity with HACCP regulations


• Experience in the Food and Beverage industry


• Experience in multi -functional environments and projects


• Project management skills
