Details of the job
- Identify opportunities, prepare bids, and help to secure orders from domestic & international customers, reporting directly to the Sales Manager.
- Contribute to reach the targets set for orders & sales KPI in accordance with business objectives established by EDISOFT?S board in the target business areas;
- Organise and participate in marketing actions set to promote EDISOFT and Thales Group Know-how, Products and Services for domestic and international customers, according to the company commercial strategy and under the sales manager supervision.
- Perform analyses to determine the market potential inherent to each target market?s geographical context
- Contribute to definition of internal business models and plans.
- Take a leading role in developing partnerships that are business enablers.
- Assist the sales team in commercial actions and bidding processes: tender analysis, bid organisation, marketing materials preparation, organisation of communication activities.
- Perform a periodic review of the commercial Opportunities portfolio and provide reports to the Sales Manager and company management.
- Coordinate demonstrations, operational simulations of EDISOFT solutions to customers.
- Manage customer relationship in specific accounts.
- Responsible for rigorous, efficient adherence to all applicable Thales Group?s processes , including reporting, budget computation and approval, and overall government.
Technical & Professional skills
- Degree in computer science, electronics, networking, applied mathematics or equivalent.
- Professional experience in sales, or business development, or customer/stakeholders relations, of at least 5 years.
- Professional know-how on the ITC market (IT systems, communications, security).
- Ability to gather information on existing and potential customers, competitors, changes in customers and technical environment.
- Ability to listen to customers, establish an atmosphere of trust, draw customer interest to EDISOFT?s offer, and help customer express, specify and formalise its needs.
- Ability to anticipate market needs and technological breakthrough and to answer customers' expectations with optimal, innovative and competitive commercial and technical solutions, focusing on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to identify and lay ground for establishment of valuable partnerships. Good knowledge of ITC industry (including customers) organisational structures, standards, workflows, operating procedures and terminology.
- Financial skills to support price-to-win analyses of budget estimation in proposals.
- Possess good communication skills, good Negotiation Skills and Multicultural environment teamwork.
- Strong organisational skills, goal oriented, the ability to handle multiple priorities and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with a high degree of autonomy.
- Good knowledge of IT systems, technologies, and solution designs.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese (written & spoken).
Highly valued skills:
Professional Experience in Defence and Security organisations (industry and/or public sector).
Know-how on cybersecurity, digital identification and infrastructure protection technology.
NATO/EU/NATIONAL security accreditations (in the past).
