What You?ll Do

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Partner with the Functional Learning Leads and HR Business Partners to diagnose performance gaps, analyse causes, design solutions and identify performance measures
  
• Develop and implement learning programmes to address critical organisational development needs
  
• Partner with business leaders to develop and implement learning journeys to support delivery of GKN Automotive?s strategy
  
• Develop and performance manage the annual global Learning and Development plan, reporting regularly with supporting analytics
  
• Communicate insights, results and recommendations to stakeholders and guide them to make evidence-based decisions
  
• Partner with the business to develop and monitor annual central L&D budgets
  
• Develop and maintain strategic partner relationships
  
• Stay up to date on existing and emerging technology trends and integrate relevant technologies into learning strategy and including developing standards and guidelines for use of technology in L&D
  
• Effectively partner with the Communications team to devise clear marketing and communications action plans, using a variety of channels
  
• Keep up to date with learning trends, developments and best practice
  

What You?ll need

You are experienced in developing L&D programmes and are excited about how this supports a culture of continuous professional development

• Qualifications ? University degree in Business, Psychology or other relevant subject
  
• Proven experience as a Learning & Development Manager, Training Manager or equivalent
  
• Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
  
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
  
• Experience in project management and budgeting
  
• Experience in performance consulting
  
• Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  
• Excellent communication and organisation skills; sharp business acumen
  
• Adept at influencing others, problem solving and offering pragmatic solutions.
  
• Analytical and reporting skills.
  
• Ability to build rapport with employees and 3rd party vendors
  
• Professional certification (e.g. CPLP, Chartered CIPD) is a plus
