Electronic Commerce and Distribution (eC&D) is driving the digital strategy for Global Markets [GM] and seeks to position the bank as one of the leading and most efficient electronic trading offers available on the market. The team is bringing alignment across all GBLs, streamlining the digital entry points for clients, optimizing market connectivity, and capturing thought leadership and trend-watching to ensure Global Markets remains at the forefront of the latest technology trends.

BNP Paribas Electronic Business and Markets group is a transversal business line within Global Markets. It is responsible for managing all aspects of Electronic Business from Product Strategy and Distribution, Automated Market making, Client and Sales solutions as well as Client Service.

Electronic Markets is part of the COO group that is looking to significantly grow BNP Paribas?s market share and improve its global electronic offering for its global client base.

Your Main Activities Are

• To prepare various analysis using Cortex CD data to monitor hit ratios, retention rates, activity statistics, overall external performance etc.


• To on-board clients post demo and support them in completing the set up


• Keep marketing support up to date (ie one pagers, brochures, user guide)


• To work in full coordination with Head of CD MAST and CD E-product specialist, closely monitor blotter activity for live requests/orders for clients. Alert sales when necessary


• To review OBO client list on a regular basis with a view to identify new Cortex eligible clients


• Coordinate with CIT IT desk and other relevant teams to identify, raise and solve Cortex CD issues


• Work with the senior e-product specialist to manage clients? margins, limits, profiles in our internal systems

Profile and Skills to Success

• Academic background in Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Economics or similar areas (preferential)


• Proficiency in Excel


• Intermediate level in VBA and Python (Pandas, Matplotlib and Seaborn libraries)


• Market, product & business - Evidences a good appreciation of economics and market dynamics, with enough understanding to present views on market conditions and trends


• Strong team work while being able to work autonomously


• Strong analytical and problem solving skills


• Ability to work under tight deadlines and organisational skills


• Ability to understand change and innovation


• Disciplined attitude to active risk management


• Fluency in English (mandatory)
