Job Overview
We are a fast growing B-Corp company who strongly believes every single kencko-er we hire is a key part of our shared success. We are now seeking a full-time Fulfillment Manager to oversee our Lisbon-Marvila fulfilment center and a fluctuating team of 15. This position requires strong leadership skills, good analytical and critical thinking, the ability to plan, organize and prioritize work and communicate effectively.
Main Goals
Ensure our multi-category order fulfillment operation runs smoothly, to deliver our customers?' orders on time.
Responsibilities
Oversee the day to day management of operations in the fulfillment center- Analyze data and KPIs to monitor daily performance of the team
- Plan and implement changes on the fulfillment floor to accommodate company growth
- Identify and implement best practices to drive efficiencies
- Coordinate with the PT Operations Manager and assist in negotiating with other teams the implementation of new procedures and new launches
- Ensure the team is trained and prepared to implement new procedures
- Oversee and manage staff schedules and ensure we always have appropriately allocated resources to deliver customers? orders
- Ensure communication flows to the team following the correct channels
- Ensure the fulfillment operation follows HACCP quality standards
- Embody and promote a healthy working culture that is true to kencko?s values, fostering a sense of teamwork and collaboration
Experience You Bring
5+ years of working experience- Previous experience in working in fulfillment centers/warehouses/production lines is preferred
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills
- 3+ years of team management experience
- Strong skills and experience in negotiating implementation plans and in making prioritization decisions
- Lover of planning, organizing and structuring things
- Very strong analytical and logistics skills
- Strong communication and strategic thinking
- Comfortable sticking to quality standards (wearing protective equipment such as uniform, plastic gloves, hair net, food industry shoes; removing jewelry as well as maintaining short nails/no polish while in the fulfilment floor)
- Ability to laugh at yourself and the small day to day things
- Excellent level of spoken and written English and Portuguese
- Ability to work in our Marvila office most days
