Job Overview

We are a fast growing B-Corp company who strongly believes every single kencko-er we hire is a key part of our shared success. We are now seeking a full-time PT Operations Manager to be a part of the team in our Lisbon-Marvila office. This position requires strong leadership and teamwork skills, good analytical and critical thinking, the ability to plan, organize and prioritize work and communicate effectively.

Main Goals

Manage our PT Operation, supervising a fluctuating Fulfillment team of 20+ including permanent and temporary staff, and ensuring that we have the right resources in place to fulfill and ship our members orders accurately and on time. That requires looking at sales forecasts, planning and allocating resources accordingly; Designing, improving and implementing efficient processes in order to maximize storage and fulfillment capacity, minimize costs and reduce the order creation to delivery times.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Manage the day-to-day performance of order fulfillment and daily replenishment shipments in our PT Fulfillment Center


• Empower the team by organizing and effectively communicating with the team to ensure a smooth operation


• Analyze data and KPIs to monitor daily performance for inventory management and order fulfillment & shipping


• Recommend and assist in the implementation of best practices to drive efficiencies and streamline processes, helping the team to ensure that all customer orders are accurately fulfilled and shipped, as soon as possible


• Ensure we follow HACCP quality standards


• Contribute to the development of new tools, processes and KPIs that foster consistency among different teams


• Help improving current communication and reporting tools and processes, including daily, weekly and monthly reports indicating full operational status


• Communicate with senior leadership to plan and coordinate operational activities according to targets and forecasts


• Train and support all new employees and temporary staff in your department. This includes sharing and requesting resources as needed


• Embody and promote a healthy working culture that is true to kencko?s values, fostering a sense of teamwork and collaboration

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 
  Degree in Engineering, Management, Logistics or similar is preferred


• 5+ years of working experience


• 3+ of team management experience, retail, D2C / e-commerce is preferred


• Exceptional leadership and people management skills


• Excellent organization and communication skills


• Very strong analytical skills


• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment

• Comfortable working in an evolving and dynamic environment


• Strong communication and strategic thinking


• Experience working with Excel/Google Sheets or similar tools including formulas


• Bonus Points: working with an ERP such as Sage


• Ability to laugh at yourself and at the small day to day things


• Excellent level of spoken and written English


• Fluent in Portuguese


• Ability to work in our Marvila office
