Responsible for all accounting functions in the location including recording, collecting and analyzing for use in maintaining accounting records of the financial operations of MEI Europe , Lda.

Education

• Level 2 certificate in bookkeeping ? mandatory

Job description

• Process purchase orders and record invoices

• Track costs and implement cost reduction actions

• File and input data in the ERP system

• Keep updated financial records

• Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Bank balances, cash and credit cards reconciliation

• Manage overall location inventory

• Monthly reporting to gov and municipal authorities (tax, social security, VAT and property)

• Experience with ERP system

· Experience with Primavera 10 version

· Human Resource experience

• Proven capabilities with Excel

• English proficiency (an advantage)

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper ( white FMG industry ? an advantage)

• Highly organized and reliable with strong attention to details

• Must be comfortable working in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment

MEI Europe is creating a comprehensive technology plan. This plan will address systematic replacement of aging workstations and ways to evaluate emerging technologies. It will provide a basic map of how our information system will run today and in the future taking in account the rapidly changing nature of the industry.
