Installation Technician

Position Overview:

The installation Technician position reports directly to the Automation Crew Leader or Site Manager as required.

As an Installation Technician, you will execute electromechanical production assembly processes of a repetitive nature to assemble units using components such as PC boards, fabricated metal, machined metals, cable harnesses, and electronic or mechanical subassemblies.

You'll Be Responsible For The Following:

Ensure that all Health and Safety and Environmental policies are followed.
Assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electro-mechanical assemblies.
Communicate technical problems and work with other team members as required to solve the problem.
Identifying, analyzing, and reporting product performance and quality issues.
Troubleshooting, identifying problems, and understand resources needed to resolve them.
Recording technical tests and performance validation data in data capture systems.
Perform tests with minimal instruction and documentation.
Tracking and storing the departments inventory, including spare parts.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Physical Demands:

Repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking.
Lifting and movement of parts and tools, requiring bending and carrying within the safe limits.
Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals), manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)
Working conditions may include dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours, and wet or uneven surfaces.
Experience/Education:

We are looking for candidates with relevant vocational qualifications in Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, Industrial Maintenance, or another related field. Have a minimum of 1-3 years' experience.

We Require the Following From You:

Between 1-3 years of successful experience in a related project.
Good knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental EU regulations and procedures.
Proven ability to work successfully with little supervision.
Strong mechanical aptitude for basic troubleshooting and repairs.
Good knowledge of assembly. power up and verification of automated warehouse systems.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Flexible in terms of work hours, open to shifting schedules, extended work hours, and working on holidays and weekends.
Ability to travel internationally and domestically as needed
Fluent spoken and written English, additional languages capabilities will be a plus.
Must possess the right to work in the country of employment & across the EEA
Possess valid EU driving license
Travel up 90%
