Your new role
The Manager, HR Systems will operate as a super-user for critical HR systems (Workday, ServiceNow (SNOW) etc.) and lead a small team of HR system administrators ensuring effective day to day operation and the improvement and development of HR systems. They will coach and support other members of the Hire 2 Retire (H2R) team in the effective use and operation of these systems and work closely with the KBS Service Management and Digital HR teams to review performance and implement improvements to the system architecture.
The Manager, HR Systems is part of a dynamic and integrated global HR function delivering operational HR and Payroll services. Key responsibilities will be:
Accountable for the effective operation of HR Systems (Workday / ServiceNOW)
Lead a team of HR Systems Administrators who will act as System Super-Users for HR Products and support queries relating to HR Systems
Collaborates with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) as a well as specialist functions such as Talent Acquisition, Reward, Digital HR, Global Mobility, Finance, Learning and Leadership
Understand the business processes for HR and how the applications support the processes, ensuring that systems are enablers of efficient process operation
Provides an escalation point for critical systems issues impacting which impact the utilisation and functionality of HR Systems. Co-ordinate any system outages or responses on behalf of KBS to minimise any impact on the customer experience
Support HR systems admin to ensure data management is secure and complies with Kantar?s data storage and transmission policies
Ensuring a risk management and proactive approach to issue resolution Actively contributes to the development and improvement H2R team as part of the Kantar Business service function
Regularly review plans to monitor performance and taking appropriate corrective action where required
Auditing performance and quality against targets and takes ownership to implement appropriate corrective action when required
Work with the HR Solutions Team to build Tier 1 knowledge of common systems queries to reduce overall volume of work coming into the HR and improve employee outcomes
Proactively identify opportunity for improvement in systems and work closely with Service Management team and HR Global Process Owner (GPO) to develop and implement these (e.g. Knowledge Management articles to enable greater self-service)
Ensuring that people development requirements are planned and implemented to support the overall team and HR goals
What you'll need to succeed
Degree level education or equivalent
Significant Experience in systems administration of Workday and Service Now
Operational management experience
Experience working in Global Business Services (GBS) environment
Experience of delivering system improvements and managing enhancements and release cycles
Fluent English speaker, accurately able to read and write English and to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and management
Strong service ethos and skills supported by hands on customer service delivery experience in an office environment
Meticulous and accurate with excellent attention to detail
Experience of team management and performance development
Desirable : Accredited / Certified with Service Now or Workday
Experience of HR case / work management systems would be advantageous
