Revenue



The Indie Campers Revenue team works across the user lifecycle to develop a compelling global marketplace and community around road trips. We employ data and insights to help us best acquire, engage, serve, monetize and retain travelers and hosts across all of our territories to ensure that our customers are able to go on amazing road trips around the world. The Revenue team consists of our Customer Excellence, Marketing, Supply, Revenue Management, and Data teams, so the work you do will depend on your particular blend of skills but will always be customer-centric, data-driven, and collaborative as we work on increasing customer choice, value, and satisfaction. Lisbon



Our Lisbon office is located in the city center, known for its beautiful landscape, history and vibrant cultural scene. It is a place where our Product and Technology, Operations and Revenue teams meet informally, co-create together, have fun during lunch and enjoy our lovely barbecues at our terrace.



The Role



As a Social Media Assistant, you'll be collaboratively and strategically helping to manage the social media presence for Indie Campers. You will develop social media content that supports the social media strategy while overseeing the management of the content calendar, including platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest. The position includes strategic creation, curation, and publishing of content as well as capturing the voice of Indie Campers' brand in social post copy and monitor/respond to social media commentary on behalf of the company. You will need to have a thorough understanding of the ever-changing social media landscape and how to adapt tactics rapidly, social media analytics, customer service, storytelling, and digital multimedia.



Additional responsibilities include assisting with developing social media marketing strategies and goals with your brilliance and creativity and provide analytics to inform other teams.



What you´ll do:



  • Work with the social media manager to aid in executing the social media strategy and planning appropriate implementation measures

  • Create audience-centered, meaningful, substantive engaging social media content across all platforms

  • Help to manage social presence and assuring it aligns with the defined strategy and tone for each social media platform

  • Monitor external responses across various social media platforms, responding when appropriate

  • Actively work with communications staff throughout the company to create or curate content

  • Identify emerging trends and features on social media and brainstorms with the social media manager to execute additional social media tactics

  • Maintain a list of current accounts, identifying and communicating with managers and approving the creation of new accounts

  • Assist with requests to foster collaborative partnerships on social media

  • Engage in creative brainstorming sessions to inform social media tactics and strategies

  • Remain flexible and willing to handle other marketing and communication duties as assigned


Who you are:



  • 1-2 years of relevant experience managing and executing social media for a professional organization

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, public relations or a related field, Or a combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis, but not for the specific year experience requirement.

  • Fluent in English (mandatory)

  • Fluent or Native German Speaker

  • Experience with Social Channels, Hootsuite, and Customer Service

  • Outstanding at solving complex problems that require logical reasoning and good intuition;

  • Able to work in a highly dynamic and international environment;
