About the job


To serve and process operations for the all our Corporate and Institutional Clients based in 57 countries, BNP Paribas CIB relies on its IT & Operations (ITO) departments.


Client Management is a department focused on the Client and its main mandate is to provide him with high quality and be-spoke services according to its needs and potential, while being aligned with CIB Businesses? strategies.


Client Management department covers IT, Operations and Transformation. All these teams share a common motto: create added value for Clients while protecting the Bank.


Your Main Activities Are


The CLM Regulations Officer is a key part of the correct implementation of the new rules and regulations, which are governing the financial industries. The officer will perform regulatory maintenance activities and provide support for tax, market integrity, and OTC derivatives regulations within Client Management?s mandate. The team will ensure high-level expertise and perfect execution of daily management of regulatory activities.


  • Organize, coordinate and ensure the successful completion of the production activity


  • Provide regulatory guidance and support to CLM teams


  • Create/maintain CLM standard operating procedures


  • Implement the regulatory changes from an operational point of view


  • Contribute to process and tool improvements


  • Define and produce KPIs on progress, risks and issues


  • Ensure reports data accuracy and consistency


  • Report progress, risks and issues to relevant stakeholders (Business, Legal, etc.) and Management


  • Identify clients not regulatory compliant and define action plan for remediation


  • Act as a representative of the CLM Regulations Community towards other internal stakeholders


  • Act as BNPP?s representative for Clients


Profile and Skills to Success


  • University degree, preferably in Law / Regulation / Financial Security


  • Fluency in English and French ? both verbal and written ? is mandatory;


  • Will be required to work with various stakeholders, so having excellent communication skills is essential


  • Strong attention to detail and a strong sense of organization


  • Comfortable with excel and PowerPoint


  • Analytical skills: should be able to identify potential risks that may not be obvious from statistical reports


  • Ability to make timely decisions and be accountable for results is essential


  • Knowledge of the key functional areas in Investment Banking ? processes, systems and organization (Front to Back in addition to Core Functions) is fundamental
