The Omnipod® Insulin Management System provides a unique alternative to traditional insulin delivery methods. With its simple, wearable design, the disposable Pod provides up to three days of non-stop insulin delivery, without the need to see or handle a needle. Insulet also leverages the unique design of its Pod, by tailoring its Omnipod® technology platform for the delivery of non-insulin subcutaneous drugs across multiple therapeutic areas.
Founded in 2000, more than 100,000 users across the globe rely on Insulet?s Omnipod® Insulin Management System to bring simplicity and freedom to their lives. Starting July 1, 2018, Insulet assumed the direct distribution of its Omnipod® Insulin Management System in Europe, including sales, marketing, training and customer support activities.
The job
As a Customer Service Representative for Insulet, your main mission will be to reassure Insulet medical device users about this direct distributor change and especially to manage their requests regarding the use and proper functioning of these devices. This support will be done via phone and e-mail in Italian and English.
Activities
Part of your daily activities will be:
Respond to inbound calls and customer inquiries regarding Insulet products;- Answering phone inquiries and providing support and direction to customers and resolving customer service issues in a timely and empathetic manner;
- Request and collect updated documentation required by the customer?s payer, complete order entry
and coordination of product shipment to customers.
Procedure and compensation of the Training
Intensive Training for all new employees is the foundation of a successful career.
Procedure
The Training period for Insulet is 20 days from Monday to Friday and it has a duration of 8 hours per day. The Training start times may vary between 08:30h and 09:30h, depending on your group. During the Training you will receive an insight into your future work field which will include:
Integration into the Teleperformance Portugal team;- Training for new computer software programs;
- Comprehensive Product Training about products and services of the client;
- Customer Management Training for telephone, e-mail and chat contact;
- On-the-job Training and independent implementation of Training content.
Compensation
On the first day of training, you will sign the Training Agreement, which includes information about the salary, schedule and duration of the Training. The successful completion of your training will result in the employment contract signature. The signing of the contract will either take place on the last day of Training or on the following workday.
The Training period will be proportionally compensated by Teleperformance Portugal with 50% of your regular hourly wage for those who successfully complete it. Since you will not yet have signed an employment contract during the Training, there will not be any social security taxes charged for the Training period compensation.
Please be aware that in case of a premature termination of the Training on your part or on the side of Teleperformance Portugal due to behaviour reasons, no compensation will be paid. Any additional expenses related to the Training will not be refunded.
Further information about the working conditions
Working hours
40 Hours per week on a rotational shift pattern from Monday to Sunday, 24/24h.
Rotating shifts
You will be assigned a daily working schedule of 8 hours with an additional hour lunch break. You will be informed in advance about the working schedule.
Holidays
Since you will sign a Portuguese employment contract, Portuguese public holidays apply. If you work on a Portuguese public holiday, you will get an extra compensation day that you can spend later, with consent of the project.
Your holiday entitlement follows the Portuguese law with 22 days per year. Holidays cannot be taken in the first month of employment.
Holiday and Christmas bonuses
In Portugal you will receive Holiday and Christmas bonuses, each being equal to one extra month of your base salary. The combined amount of these bonuses is paid each month on top of your regular monthly base salary.
Probation period
There is a 1 month probationary period before confirmation of your contract status. If absence and
lateness occur during probation (includes training/nesting and first month on the floor) this could impact the decision on whether you pass your probation period.
Your workplace
Teleperformance Portugal currently has nine office buildings in Portugal. Six of these are located in Lisbon, including the Headquarters. All international projects are based in Lisbon. Your future workplace will be the Infante Santo building.

Contract details
- Fixed-term, renewable employment contract;
- Initial contract with a duration of 12 months;
- Up to two contract renewals with a duration of 12 months;
- Permanent employment contract after 3 years;
- Private health insurance after 6 months of contract signature (additionally to the standard insurance).
