We?re hiring for a Category Marketing Manager for our seeds segment.

As Category Marketing Manager you will be responsible for the product management of the portfolio assigned of bacterial additives and animal nutrition (inoculants and some forage seeds)

As category marketing manager you will be responsible to support and develop e-commerce activities with inoculant portfolio, interacting with different stakeholder internally and externally. You will lead as well the corn growth project team, working with seeds and Crop protection products and looking for opportunities to enlarge our food print and value of the corn crop.

Your Role:

• Translate strategic objectives into marketing goals and develop marketing plans.


• Follow the execution of product development and marketing programs in relation to the launch and promotion of the main products of the assigned product range


• Maintain frequent collaboration with Research/Operative marketing and Sales departments.


• Examine market situation to identify the market needs and find best solution/products to satisfy customers? needs


• Participate in the sales forecasts


• Set up field demos network in order to test and select new products for the market.


• Provide marketing and technical guidance to different stakeholders during training-information sessions, presentations or public speeches.


• Be the focal point for all generation of information and training on Animal Nutrition

Key Stakeholders and Interactions:

• Internal stakeholers: District Sales Managers and Technical Sales Specialists, Marketing Manager and Sales manager, Research/Platform teams and Regional product managers


• External stakeholders: Universities, agricultural institutions and associations, End Users

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need

• BSc in agronomy, agricultural sciences, veterinary, animal nutrition or fields related


• At least 5 years of experience dealing with product positioning of bacterial inoculants both from technical and commercial side


• Excellent knowledge of animal nutrition and forage management and conservation


• Business proficiency in English. Spanish and/or Portuguese as native language.


• Willing to travel at least 20% of the annual time


• Good communication skills. Effectively frames and shapes conversations. Can deliver difficult messages well.


• Identifies key data sources and utilizes data-driven insights about important departmental metrics to improve business outcomes


• Constant learner. Willing to study and upgrade knowledge


• Able to coordinate technical information flow within groups of people
