The primary responsibilities of the B2 Quality Assurance Officer will be to perform a review of Automated transactions closed, released or/and escalated to Level C Level B2

Your Main Activities Are

• Test the outcome reached by the B2 Analysts and the compliance of the alert management at B2 Level with the Lisbon Hub operating procedures and other relevant applicable procedures

  
  

• Distinguish between analysis that is compliant; non-compliant with significant failings; non-compliant with minor defects; or compliant with local procedures but which highlights a defect in the procedures

  
  

• Contribute to the QA framework for the selection of samples of alerts, testing parameters and the recording of QA reviews

  
  

• Produce reports on the outcome of the regular QA review process

  
  

• Provide feedback to management, teams of analysts and individual analysts

  
  

Profile and Skills to Success

• Fluent in English ( French knowledge would be a plus)

  
  

• Alerts management tools knowledge

  
  

• Curiosity, good judgment and good attention to detail

  
  

• Analytical skills with the ability to apply good judgment and risk awareness to properly distinguish between more serious and less material failings and identify issues which indicate a need for further improvement of existing procedures

  
  

• Ability to escalate appropriately to ensure management is made aware of all pressing issues in a timely fashion

  
  

• Ability to contribute with suggestions to enhance systems, methodologies and process improvement or simplification

  
  

• Team spirit

  
  

• Rigorous, well-organized with a structured and logical approach

  
  

• Knowledge of Sanctions and AML risks based on an interest in current affairs and the work of international bodies such as FATCA

  
  

• Understanding of risk-based metrics

  
  

• Demonstrable understanding of regulation

  
  

• Experience in a compliance or quality control function (ideally in Sanctions and embargoes area)

  
  

• Knowledge of existing AML procedures and Actimize system would be a plus

  
  

• Knowledge of excel and power-point

  
  

• Knowledge of products/services offered by a bank to CIB client
