Veterinary Social Media Manager

Job Overview
We are the biggest Veterinary Specialist Digital agency in Europe. We?re looking for a Marketing Assistant to provide effective, efficient administrative support for our social media, content and service teams. The ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support, is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver and organised. Ensuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner and meeting deadlines is key to success in this position.
Responsibilities and Duties
- To support the Veterinary Social Media Manager with the provision of content to veterinary practice?s social media platforms (predominantly Facebook), including content creation and scheduling
- Manage workflow by assigning tasks to self or other team members as appropriate, ensuring that deadlines are met and work is completed correctly
- Gather data on key social media insights upon the manager?s request
- Assist other service teams as required
- Assist with content creation and graphic design when required.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel, and Google Drive with expertise in Google Docs and Sheets
- Understanding of digital marketing strategies and Social Media platforms
- Experience working with or in the veterinary industry is desirable
- Ability to analyse and revise operating practices to improve efficiency
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated and comfortable working alone and as part of a team
- Exceptional communication skills in English (Written and spoken)
- Outstanding organisation skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
Contract terms
Post: Permanent (following a successful 6-month probation period)
Start date: ASAP
Location: Work from home - with regular attendance at VetInflow/VetsDigital Office base in Portugal (In Ílhavo - Aveiro)
