As a Solution Consultant, you will:
Continue to shape and implement the foundation for the state-of-the-art IT platform for the offering business in Smart Infrastructure (SI), in our global CPQ implementation project for the business unit Regional-Solution-Services (RSS).
Together with the agile team, the product owner, the solution architect, the product manager, and the development team, be further developing the CPQ solution from PROS (incl. SF and Conga) - a market leader in this space. Integrations and information management from disparate information systems within Siemens SI IT application landscape including interfaces to Salesforce and ERP systems will play a key role to enable end-to-end business processes.
Work towards identifying and eliciting the SI RSS?s business needs
Provide support to the architectural vision, planning the development activities, and making high-level design proposals aligned with the SI RSS PROS architecture strategy, to meet business requirements
Evolve and maintain the functional and technical solution architecture
Break down the architectural components into workable, manageable modules, teams, and their respective responsibilities
Work out which IT products (inhouse repositories) to use to fasten the time to market
Coordinate with the SI IT team, especially together with the architect of the SI IT and the IT architect from the value center, to ensure harmonization of the digital landscape
Research, plan, and explain to PO?s and developers what is required and overseeing the progress and the quality of the project
Work with the business and the development teams and acting as a bridge between them
Work with the SI information security team to meet Siemens IT security standards according to the assigned ACP level
Collaborate with Corporate Technology to incorporate new technologies/ideas to improve the business processes
To make a difference, you must have:
5+ years of full-stack software development and maintenance experience
Experience in designing and developing in at least one large-scale SDLC projects
Design and development of integrations between applications as required in the project
Knowledge of SFDC development and Admin
Experience with PROS software platform or Conga (is a plus)
Understanding of REST/SOAP based API
Understanding of CI/CD
Hands-on on interfaces and coordinating with Interface partners
Experience in Agile DEVOPS SCRUM
Strong focus on meeting Siemens quality guidelines (for both product and process)
Experience presenting to PO?s or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
A pragmatic mindset with output orientation and a strong team player
Fluent in English both oral and written (German is a plus)
