How We Do It

We transform fresh, organic fruits and veggies into handy single-serving instant smoothies. Each one contains about 80 calories, and gives the same nutritional benefits as 2.5 cups of fresh produce.

Almost half of the world?s fresh fruits and vegetables are thrown away uneaten. Our flash-freeze, slow-dry process cuts waste by putting produce on standby until our members are ready to enjoy it. We also lighten our footprint by using compostable packaging and offsetting all emissions from shipping!

Job Overview

We are a fast growing B-Corp company who strongly believes every single kencko-er we hire is a key part of our shared success. We are now seeking a full-time Distribution Associate to be a part of the team in our Lisbon-Marvila office. This position requires strong attention to detail, good organizational abilities, teamwork, and effective communication skills.

Main Goals

Keep the warehouse organized and maximize space utilization, while keeping an accurate and updated record of all inbound and outbound movements.

Responsibilities

Maintain inventory levels and warehouse organization at our fulfillment facility:

• 
  Properly organize warehouse to ensure all materials are easily accessible, countable and identifiable


• Maintain the necessary inventory levels at the warehouse to ensure the fulfillment team has enough stock to meet their needs on a daily basis


• Restock fulfillment stations and return excess materials as warranted


• Review and document inventory counts to ensure accuracy within the warehouse


• Receive and verify incoming stock, performing quality checks


• Maintain auditable records: packing lists, pick lists, blueprints and other paperwork


• Use internal tools to accurately register and communicate issues


• Review and validate product inventory availability and ensure FIFO protocols are maintained


• Maximize space and keep warehouse areas safe for all


• Maintain a clean warehouse area on a daily basis, in accordance to all company safety and hygiene regulations


• Handle machinery safely and efficiently


• Communicate daily about inventory related issues


• Recommend and implement best practices to drive efficiencies and streamline processes


• Train and support new employees and temporary staff as needed

Experience You Bring

• 
  1+ years? experience in warehouse supervision, including oversight of inventory of multiple product lines


• 1+ years? experience working with Excel/Google Sheets or similar tools including formulas


• Eager and fast learner


• Excellent organization and communication skills


• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment


• Ability to laugh at yourself and at the small day to day things

• Comfortable working in an evolving and dynamic environment

• Excellent level of spoken and written English


• Fluent in Portuguese


• Ability to work in our Marvila office and flexibility to work various shifts


• Bonus Points: working with an ERP such as Sage
