KYS Risk Analyst

About the job
The Procurement activity at Group Strategic Sourcing (at Group and Entity level) supports the Entities of BNP Paribas Group in the process of buying goods and services to get the best combination of quality, cost, risks and delivery time. Its mandate covers all the Group external expenses.
As part of the reorganization of provider risks processes, the Group has implemented a KYS (Know Your Supplier) policy. Its objective is to better frame risks regarding our partners and suppliers, be they in terms of financial security and corporate and social responsibility risks, or others.
Your Main Activities Are
- Evaluating the risk (analyse financial health / risk of financial failure, financial dependency between supplier and BNPP, corporate and social responsibility risks among others) for existing suppliers (monitoring activity) and new suppliers (on-boarding activity)
- Preparing Group and Entities Risk Sourcing Committees (gathering Group Strategic Sourcing, heads of Entities Procurement team, Compliance, Legal and Risk departments), which objective is to review the Group and Entities risk level exposition to its suppliers
- Gathering risk evaluations of suppliers in coordination with buyers
- Managing watch list changes (entries and exits)
- Supporting buyers in the definition of remediation plans and ensuring follow-up
- Analysing local remediation plans with Entities Procurement teams and identifying multi-entry suppliers
- Performing on-demand supplier financial situation analyses
- Monitoring different alerts and information regarding the suppliers
- Providing risk opinion on critical situation
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor?s degree, or equivalent by experience, in Finance, Business Management, Law, or other relevant fields of expertise
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Risk or Compliance (KYC/KYS in particular) related activities
- Overall knowledge of banking activities and the financial industry is a strong plus
- Understanding the various risks related to market transactions: fraud, reputational risks, financial security is a strong plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, and Word) is mandatory
- Analytical skills
- Rigor and accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Teamwork
- Fluency in English (minimum B2 Level, CECRL certificate) is mandatory, and domain of French is a strong plus
