The Test Engineer will be involved in one of the main process in each release of Acronis Cyber Cloud. Main goal is to test updates of production replica before release starts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deploy production replica on local environment

Maintaining the underlying hypervisor infrastructure, identifying and resolving bottlenecks

Prepare new test environment (deploy virtualization instance, create clusters, configure networks)

Monitoring of the underlying infrastructure, identifying and resolving issues

Updating the cloud components to new versions (100+ components)

Investigating and reporting the issues

Collaborate with various development team to help investigate different aspects of the system

Track escalated issues

Report all risks about future release

Communicate with different teams to find weak places in updates

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
2+ years of Sys admin/Technical Support/QA experience

Basic knowledge of networking and TCP/IP protocols

Basic knowledge in Bash/Python

Basic virtualization infrastructure administration skills, experience with Linux Serves (command-line), Docker/Kubernetes

Experience with Jenkins, basic Ansible playbook development skills

Troubleshooting experience (servers, storage appliances, web servers and networks)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proactiveness, ability to deliver result under little supervision

Intermediate/Upper-intermediate English
