Logistics Supervisor

OVERVIEW
Main purpose of this position is: a) Ensure an optimal stock level without compromising service to customer; b) Manage the Logistics Service Provider; c) Monitor the Supply Chain dptm Financials; d) Procurement for copacking and Logistics Service Providers; e) Ensure a number of admin and system related routines to accurately reflect physical stock on every system; f) Analytical support for the Iberian Supply Chain Manager
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Management of packaging materials for Contract packers
Support GSC Quality with vendors
Consumption of materials at Contract packing locations
Stock Transfer Order Creation
Stock Adjustments (including On-Hold)
Daily Logistic Service Provider follow-up
Returns, STOs and Purchased Product Goods Receipting at External Warehouses
Routine Logistics tasks (Daily, Weekly, Monthly - Book-to-book, EDI error resolution, goods issue, goods receipt, blocked product, incidences, etc.)
WORK PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES
Analytical Tasks
Determine most efficient stock holding
BBE - shelf life control ? list, block, avoid.
Weekly KPI production: LSP Service, Stock and Spend
Variance to Supply Chain Budget- Stock Accuracy: External Warehouses and Contract Packing Locations
- Invoice sign-off and Supply Chain accruals process
Review of external provider produced KPIs
Project Management
Quality improvement initiatives
Implementation including customer vendor site visits
New contract packing, manufacturing and Logistics Service Provider requirements- Warehousing strategy implementation
Ensure the best 3PL solution / regular Tender and Procurement
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Business, Engineer or equivalent Degree- Good knowledge of Microsoft Access Office (particularly Excel).
SAP preferable.- Proficient in English and Portuguese; able to communicate in Spanish.
