The Role

As Head of Design you will inspire and lead a creative team to make a difference to consumers? behavior by influencing change through ideas, creativity and the use of sustainable materials.

Responsible for designing and managing all aspects of our main & capsule collections, throughout the year, consistent with the brand?s voice and tone.

Update and maintain the permanent collection.

Lead multiple projects simultaneously, in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

You will work closely with our junior designer and production team.

Collaborate & team up with our sales and marketing departments creating design content accordingly to our sales strategy, to generate ideas for pitching and proposals.

This role reports to the CEO and Creative Director.

Launch and follow developments of the collection with suppliers and in collaboration with the Development team.

Ensure the design is executed within budget and deadlines.

Influencing design-led thinking across the business.

Develop creative programs and design concepts that meet the business objectives of the organization and that advance our brand and proposition strategy.

Develop and manage productivity, provide quality control over design outputs and production.

Build out and maintain design system & brand book.

Drive clear retail creative direction & execution strategies with internal and external partners to connect with consumers in a consistent brand voice and tone.

Deliver best-in-class seasonal collections, celebrating the innovative DNA of our brand and seasonal business priorities in the market.

Provide strategy and thinking, partnering with executive leadership to define and build a vision for the future ? then align teams to work toward it.

Build strategies that demonstrate competitive advantages and emerging trends.

Expert knowledge of the state of digital e-commerce business and use those insights to spot new design opportunities.

Develop the seasonal Direction of the Design according to market trends as well as overall Design Direction and ensure consistency through products and ranges.

Consistent track record of success at other globally recognized High-End brands

Who you are

Formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

5+ years of proven experience as a senior/head of design role.

Strong understanding of and (preferable) previous experience in a High-End Brand.

Strong commercial sense.

Consumer culture experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of sustainable materials and breakthrough innovative production techniques.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken with the ability to influence with masterful storytelling

Experience in managing a diverse and creative group of individuals and leading change based on purpose and values.

Strategic leader, with demonstrated ability to work with and inspire a broad range of individuals to work towards a common goal.

Excellent communication skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage others

High level of initiative & maturity

Ability to inspire, think creatively and strategically as well as to act tactically

Problem-solving attitude & can-do personality. Proven ability to find avenues to success in the face of challenges

Available to work as an outsourced job opportunity.

Ability to lead teams remotely

Available to work remotely and travel with regularity to our headquarters in order to accompany the development of the collections.

Ability to delegate, overseeing multiple projects efficiently and with agility across your team to ensure design review readiness.
