Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist

The role of the Social Media and Digital Marketing Specialist is focused on building a best-in-class social presence for Accenture that can engage clients, recruits and employees. The individual will collaborate with our local marketing team across different business and corporate areas, while being the ?expert in the room? on the most effective way to use social to support the country?s priority agenda. Set the operational approach for day-to-day social channel management, content creation, listening/engagement and events activation.
He or she will also be responsible for managing www.accenture.pt and Accenture.pt/careers by updating local contents and supporting overall M+C team needs, perform triage of incoming work tickets and coordinate hand-offs related to content production, campaign requirements coordination and execution, and the POC in Portugal for the Digital Marketing Global Team.
Key responsibilities
Owning the relationship between the brand and their social media communities on the organization?s market-level owned social media channels, across the major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn).
Day-to-day operation of the brand?s in-market social media channels across the major platforms
Support and enhance Accenture Portugal leadership and employee activation on social
Manage the development of landing pages and the content management across Accenture local website
Implementing all elements of the Social Media Strategy relating to in-market management, including publishing content and social customer care
Follow platform and community trends to develop recommendations for optimization
Ensuring the social media guidelines are adhered to across all platforms, such as when to publish content, tone of voice and how to escalate potential reputational threats
Actively integrate with social colleagues and extended teammates across all areas of Accenture M+C, collaborating on initiatives and sharing learnings, insights and ideas
Social media crisis management and tracking and escalation of reputational threats
Educational Qualification
Education: Bachelor?s degree, university degree or equivalent
Work Experience: 4-6 years of experience in Marketing and Communications, with focus on Social Media, Digital Marketing and Website management
High level of English
Skills and Work Experience
At least 4+ years of marketing & communications experience, with a substantial part spent focused on social media
Strong understanding of both social strategy and execution for campaigns, events and real-time activations
Experience overseeing content creation and the understanding of what makes effective content?and what doesn?t
Strong community management know-how, including listening and engagement
Effectively manage numerous projects simultaneously and work collaboratively with different areas in Accenture
Outstanding writing skills
Committed to attention to detail
Collaborate to help achieving project goals
Ability to work in projects under tight deadlines
Passion for well-executed deliverables in support of Accenture business strategy
