Senior Oracle Developer

Location: Dubai

Duration: 12 months contract extendable

Remote initially from wherever you are, and you will move onsite in the UAE (Dubai) post removal of the travel ban from respective countries

Salary: AED23000 ? AED29000 per month

Job Description

• Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) relevant to IT Experience:
  

• Minimum of 8 years of Technical in-depth knowledge should produce optimum design and Solution Architecture for Projects.

• Identify and conduct Proof of Concepts and should be highly proficient in the usage of design tools and frameworks.

• Working experience in Oracle database. Strong in data modeling, writing, tuning and optimizing SQLs and PL-SQL. Advance knowledge in database architecture and deployments.

• Lead and define system architecture for the application within the boundaries of the enterprise architecture Identify system functionality, and map functionality to software components.

• Having in-depth knowledge of design patterns and decision making ability on when and why to use specific patterns.

• Liaising with EA for getting approvals on design and exceptions if any. Understand and address non-functional requirements in system with an optimum design Build, maintain and spread best practices in system architecture to design engineers.

• Should mentor and groom system architects/design engineers in the assigned project Ability to build something innovative and new in technology.

• Review and Modernize the framework/tools and technologies to increase developer productivity and increase quality of deliverables.

• Enable technology learning sessions.

• Provide inputs on establish a technology career plan that aligns with the CLIENT roadmap.

• Promote self learning and technology innovation via innovation lab and other forums.

• Work towards a all in one engineer who can analyze a business requirement, build design alternate, code and unit test, deploy and support the application. Promote enhancements through the community of Practice Develop upload/download component as a part of projects and contribute to framework of CLIENT.

Job Specific Qualifications - Additional

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Oracle Technologies.

• 6+ years of experience of in enterprise application development with backend and frontend responsibilities using Oracle technologies (Oracle Forms, PLSQL and reports).

• 6+ years of experience with relational databases Oracle, SQL Server & MySQL

• 4+ years of experience with Application Performance monitoring using AppDynamics

• 4+ years of experience in application design using design principles, patterns and best practices

• 4+ years of experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies

• 4+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Docker Containers

• 4+ years of experience in developing applications using cloud platforms (either AWS or Azure)

• 2+ years of experience in creating configuration build and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments

• Experience/Knowledge in Integration tools like Informatica, Snaplogic and Solace will be advantage
