About the job

The Accounts Payable Payments Officer position is part of the Group Strategic Sourcing Services ? Cost Account Operations department, and is in charge of Payments Run and Bank Reconciliation, as well as their associated processes, within the BNPP Group.

Your Main Activities Are

• Generating and controlling payment proposals

  
  

• Performing bank reconciliation in a daily basis

  
  

• Analysing and solving the suspense items related to bank accounts and transitory accounts

  
  

• Month end closing and reporting activities including journal entries

  
  

• Performing periodical controls analysis and reconciliations

  
  

• Identifying improvements in the business process and propose the required changes and improvements in the tool

  
  

Profile and Skills to Success

• University degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, Business Management or similar

  
  

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience is mandatory, with relevant experience as an accounting officer, or similar roles, being a strong plus

  
  

• Experience in use of Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) and ERP system application (SAP/Oracle preferred)

  
  

• Fluent in English (writing and speaking) is mandatory, and French is a strong plus;

  
  

• Ability to work under tight deadlines with flexible schedules and with international locations

  
  

• Rigorous with ability to treat and respect confidential information

  
  

• Strong organizational skills and good attention to detail

  
  

• Strong team spirit

  
  

• Good communication skills (spoken & written), proactive attitude and problem solving skills
