Logoplaste is currently seeking to recruit a Strategy and M&A Specialist to integrate the Strategy & Marketing department of Logoplaste Portugal.

Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), you will be required to work as an integral part of the team.

You need to be passionate about understanding industrial businesses and curious about our clients challenges and strategy.

Experience in strategy and M&A execution is essential as you will be an important contributor to Logoplaste? growth ambitions.

Job Summary

This position will help drive our agenda in the M&A and the strategy front by analyzing companies that have a strategic fit with Logoplaste, producing the necessary support analyzes and documentation for decision making such as valuations, presentation materials and be part of the deal team preparing acquisition processes and be an active part of acquisition negotiations (Financial, Legal, Structuring, Financing, among others). In addition, the job will entail supporting the other Strategy and Marketing responsibilities such as preparing detailed analytical market studies for new end markets, geographies or products that might be of interest for Logoplaste.

Key tasks & Activities

Strategy

• Develops market studies for new markets, being it for geographical expansion of Logoplaste, new end markets to enter or new products to launch;


• Gathers and analyzes vast amount of information and summarizes in working documents that are used for decision making;


• Structures messages and back them with figures to be presented at board level or to external parties such as clients, industry organizations.

M&A

• Builds the financial models for valuation purposes;


• Acts as an active part of the negotiation process on the financial, legal, structuring and financing phases;


• Coordinates external advisors in the context of DD or negotiation processes when large transaction occur.

Acquisition Integration

• Takes part of the integration team to ensure Logoplaste extracts value from the acquisitions;


• Acts as a pivot between Logoplaste dedicated teams (Finance/Tax/Financing/IT/operations) to ensure Logoplaste acquisition goals are met;


• Manages people expectations created before a transaction, as they are sometimes contradictory.

Ad Hoc Marketing & Strategy tasks

• Participates in other Marketing and Strategy projects, being it on the sales excellence side, support to CEO, or Sustainability such as prepare external presentations, improve GRI Sustainability report or prepare external communication materials.

Who we are looking for?

Background and Experience

• Degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics;


• 3-5 years of experience in similar function;


• Previous experience in M&A execution;

Technical Skills

• Fluent in English (Mandatory);


• Advanced valuation skills;


• Good legal understanding of Corporate and M&A law (not only portuguese).

Interpersonal Skills

• Analytical skills;


• Good interpersonal skills are important as it will deal and coordinate with many external contacts and will have the responsibility to gather information from many sources through privileged relationships;


• Genuine curiosity for new subjects;


• Team player and flexible with a proactive attitude.
