Role purpose:

Leading on the discovery of CIoT segments, marketing strategy, product management and pricing approach for Vodafone Smart Tech. This role will be responsible for the CIoT products portfolio, assisting the team with developing and launching the proposition and go to market plan. The scope of this role includes responsibility for the full product P&L and constant alignment with Local and Group Consumer IoT team. This role is responsible for investigating and executing bundling with local core propositions.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Understanding the CIoT market and trend, focusing on the promising segments.
• 
  Define the product marketing strategy for CIoT, inclusive of the segmentation approach and financial forecasting
• 
  Define the Consumer IoT product range for Local Vodafone Entity, scouting if necessary from the external market
• 
  Providing timely and accurate information to boost ATL, sales and BTL communication, supporting the Consumer IoT sales team
• 
  Coordinate with Go To Market and Communication to best define the strategy and effectiveness of comms investments given the product specifics and relevant segment

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

• Strategy, product management and marketing experience in a large, complex, multi-national environment (more than 3 years)
• 
  Knowledge of how to take complex products and translate into consumer needs
• 
  Ability to take consultative approach to business problems, interacting with C-level stakeholders
• 
  Strong finance acumen

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• University Degree qualification
• 
  Strong drive to work in a start-up business inside a big corporation
• 
  Good understanding of technology and technological trends
• 
  Strong ability to manage P+L for product category
• 
  English proficiency
