ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide reasonable assurance to the Head of Compliance Cluster Leasing Solutions Iberia (Portugal and Spain), the CEO of Leasing Solutions Iberia, and its auditors (internal and external) that up-to-date policies and procedures, and adequate compliance set-ups are in place consistent with Group Compliance requirements and in line with applicable laws and regulations.


• Execute and co-manage the Compliance function within Leasing Solutions Portugal.


• Maintain consolidated view of Leasing Solutions Compliance Portugal risks.


• Develop a strong Compliance culture within Leasing Solutions Portugal.


• Be the preferred point of contact of the local business units and work in close cooperation with other internal stakeholders to ensure a timely, comprehensible and sufficiently documented decision-process.


• Ensure an adequate 2nd-line compliance process, acting in partnership with local business and support functions by providing practical, risk-based and appropriate solutions for day-to-day compliance matters and requests.


• Stay updated regarding regulatory changes (using frameworks from Compliance & Legal).


• Review group and corporate policies, transfer to local entities and update if necessary.


• Regularly update and maintain the compliance policy dashboard.


• Effectively implement control set-ups in line with the Generic Control Plan.


• Execute compliance 2nd-level controls, including follow-up of findings in line with the Generic Control Plan.


• Organize and support the preparation of The Iberia Compliance Committees and deliver input with sufficient quality.


• Prepare and accompany external audits, provide support regarding internal audits.


• Identify required improvements of organization, tools and processes.


• Support compliance-related projects by acting as subject matter expert.


• Support the implementation of compliance training for Leasing Solutions Portugal.


• Contribute to compliance tools & systems building and deploying processes.

PROFILE

• General knowledge of applicable regulatory framework in Leasing Solutions Portugal and within BNPP Group


• Extensive knowledge of KYC, PEP, CTF, AML and sanctions standards within Portugal


• Knowledge of Leasing (processes, products, clients)


• Integrity, accuracy, solution-focused, client focused, curiosity, reliability


• Fluency in English, Spanish is a plus
