Windows Administrator (.Net/Java) Full-time

    Job Description:

    Main tasks and responsibilities:

    As a senior Windows Systems technical administrator, the candidate will join an existing technical team and his role will require:

    -Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Windows Platforms (2008/2012, MSSQL admin, Active Directory, IIS, .NET, SharePoint, ?) -In-depth knowledge and professional experience in a Windows Server environment and fully proficient in supporting and management at remote large data centres -In-depth knowledge and professional experience in MS SQL management -In-depth knowledge and professional experience in Microsoft Windows Active Directory management -Configuration and managing of servers in remote datacentres -Corresponding Microsoft Windows Server certifications -Knowledge in Symantec AV and TSM Backup -VMWare knowledge -Very good troubleshooting skills

    Technical skills

    Must Have:

    Minimum of 5 years of confirmed expertise and working experience in:
  • Windows Server 2008 / 2012r2 / 2016 administration in large infrastructures o Very good knowledge of server hardware layers, especially HP, and the surrounding environment (LAN, SAN, etc ...) o Ability to design and develop IT solutions (VB script, Windows Shell, Power Shell).
  • Ability to automate and script in order to keep all administration actions simple and standard o Microsoft Windows Active Directory administration (infra, GPO), DNS, DHCP, IIS, cluster, middleware (Dotnet, Java), WSUS.
  • Microsoft Windows Platforms (SCOM, SharePoint, IIS, .NET, ?) o PowerShell scripting and other languages o Configuration and managing of remote servers Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge of Puppet would be a plus
  • Knowledge in Symantec AV and TSM Backup · ServiceNow · IPC knowledge
  • Professional Skills:

    Must Have:

  • Able to work in a global team and in a multiple cultural environment · Experience in working alongside internal and external providers, in an international context · Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines · Strong sense of service and communication, being rigorous, responsive, and available, with very good troubleshooting skills · Proactivity and results orientation · Strong tracking, coordination and planning skills · Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills · Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Quick learner, motivated self-starter with a demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly · Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills · Flexibility in working hours is required (as occasional over-time or weekend/holiday work) · On-call permanency could be required.
  • Language: English Mandatory: C1 - Proficient user - Interview in English will be required Common European Framework of Reference for Languages French highly valued.
