Smartsourcing Project Manager

Role and Responsibilities
The Transformation ? Smartsourcing Practice is part of the Change Management department of BNP Paribas in Portugal. The Practice aims at supporting CIB growth and transformation by providing advisory and end-to-end delivery services (assessment and business cases, project framing, execution, closure) for in/outsourcing projects. The team, made of 25+ individuals, supports all businesses in Portugal and has developed over the past years a solid experience and expertise to delivering projects, industrialising as much as possible the execution phase while complying with internal outsourcing policies and local regulations.
The Practice is now pursuing its development and seeking for a Project Manager permanently based in our offices in Porto who has a proven track record and is eager to learn about Corporate and Institutional Banking to support a steady projects portfolio coupled with an increasing demand for business and digital transformation.
As a key representative of the Change Management department in our offices in Porto, you would act as a referent for new joiners and operations teams being transferred to Porto. This role would include:
Support welcoming and on-boarding of new joiners and teams (e.g. code of conduct, use of internal systems and tools, appropriate contacts such as helpdesk and other support Functions) alongside with the HR department and the leadership team
Manage visits of the premises and present flex-office and open-door policies
Act as the liaison officer for any in/outsourcing topics and more generally related to transformation and change management
As Project Manager, you will advise or manage in/outsourcing end-to-end projects ensuring that the key project?s outcomes are delivered:
Propose meaningful project structure and governance
Provide method and expertise to frame and execute the project on time, on quality and on budget
Lead the project team on a daily basis (tasks allocation, prioritisation, etc.) to ensure successful delivery
Bring top-down perspective, manage key stakeholders and escalate any transversal issues
Profile
Master?s Degree in Management, Finance, Economics or Engineering
Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management is required
Excellent command of English. French is a plus
Previous experience in an investment banking and/or strategy and management consulting would be appreciated
Mastery of project management methodologies and tools
Proficient command of Microsoft tools
Strong written and verbal communication
Highly organised and able to multi-task
Able to take on the facilitator role, mobilising project contributors appropriately
Energetic, proactive, determined, drives change, positive, goal-focused and consistent
Create an open and supportive atmosphere, encouraging others to express themselves
Capable of delivering impactful presentations to the internal clients
Proven emotional and situational intelligence to influence positively clients towards change
Provide honest and independent advice
Act with discretion, privacy, confidentiality
