The Procurement activity at Group Strategic Sourcing (at Group and Entity level) supports the Entities of BNP Paribas Group in the process of buying goods and services to get the best combination of quality, cost, risks and delivery time. Its mandate covers all the Group external expenses. The Procurement activity of BNP Paribas Group's main tasks are to meet the needs of the businesses/entities in terms of external spending while ensuring the best cost-quality-time for the Group, optimizing these external costs and guarantee the security of the supplier relationship.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the reorganization of provider risks processes, the Group has implemented a KYS (Know Your Supplier) policy. Its objective is to better frame risks (among others financial security and corporate and social responsibility) regarding financial security and corporate and social responsibility risks and among others.
As a Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Senior Analyst in the Supplier Risk Management team, your main activities are:
- Verify Provider identity and determine the relevant and up to date Generic Due Diligences (risk analysis based on TPRM components: General Data Protection Regulation, IT/Cyber-security risk, Operational risk, Dependency, Financial Failure, Financial Security, Corporate Social Responsibility)
- Process Generic Due Diligences for new providers (onboarding activity) and existing providers (monitoring activity depending on the frequency recertification, trigger events and action plans).
- Provide risk analysis results in coordination with buyers and remediation plan by sharing GDD analysis and recommendations with the buyer in the frame of a Supplier?s onboarding and (In the context of a remediation plan), challenging Supplier information/profile, in collaboration with SMEs (CSR, IT, Compliance, Operational risk), under TPRMO direction
- Prepare materials for Outsourcing and Purchasing Committees (gathering Group Strategic Sourcing, heads of Entities Procurement team, Compliance, Legal and Risk departments)
PROFILE
- Bachelor?s degree, or equivalent by experience ( 3 years), in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Law, Business Management or other relevant area of expertise
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Risk, Compliance (KYC/KYS in particular) or IT/Cybersecurity related activities
- Understanding the various risks related to provider relationships is a strong plus;
- Good overall knowledge of banking activities and the financial industry is a strong plus;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is mandatory
- Fluency in English (minimum B2 Level, CECRL certificate) is mandatory, while French is a strong plus;
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong ability to interpret large volume of data and synthesize relevant information
- Detail oriented and able to work under tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment
- Team spirit
