Project Management Officer

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In France, BNP Paribas Securities Services has chosen to develop its service offer for the institutional clients and create a domain in charge of the IT solutions related to the Institutional Accounting.
All over the world (US, UK and Netherlands), BP2S has several platforms to operate the activities Front to Back of the institutional clients.
The ambitions of the business around this platform are numerous:
- Onboard of about thirty client until 2025 (including about fifteen in the next 3 years)
- Development of a standard service offer Middle-Office and Back-Office positioning ourselves as the French market leaders
- Extension of the service offer to a SaaS Front-Office solution
- Integration of US clients
- Deploy Middle-Office solution in UK
- Integration of new clients in Netherlands
PMOs may work at three different levels:
- On a specific project
- On a consistent set of projects
- In an entity to ensure steering of this entity?s entire project portfolio
PMOs perform all or part of the following activities, which can be broken down into three main categories:
- Contribution to steering
- Provide operational support to the project manager for the transition to various bodies, as planned for within the framework of the Project*
- Supervisor methodology, the collection of information needed to update the project portfolio (budget, schedule, remaining workload, etc.)
- Analyze discrepancies and produce a summary of the project portfolio for related steering committees (ability to implement, deviations, risks, alerts, dependencies, etc.)
- Ensure that project commitments are clearly defined and comply with processes defined by the organization
- Inform and/or alert management about monitoring (budget, schedule, risks, etc.)
- Handle reporting
- Consolidate all the indicators required for monitoring their project scope
- Ensure that the methodology and use of tools are complied with, and propose areas of continuous improvement If necessary, help define the methodology and project management tools
- Help coordinate the PMO community
- Help coordinate the PMO community
PROFILE
- Proficient in the project management method
- Organization and planning
- Proficient in IT tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, planner, etc.
- Budget and financial analysis knowledge
- Fluency in English is mandatory
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Analytical skills
- Ability to summarize
- Communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
