ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guarantee the correct taxation of income payments on foreign securities for financial intermediaries or international investors via the procedure in place (relief at source or reclaim, according to the issuer country)

  
  

• Control and analyse of the entitlements and Swift messages received from our sub-custodians

  
  

• Check and process the fiscal documentation received from the account managers or branches within the SLA agreed

  
  

• Update the dedicated databases (Starr, Tax Board...)

  
  

• Update the dedicated follow up files (documentation, accountancy, breakdowns...)

  
  

• Ask for transfer of securities and setup in Isiset

  
  

• Analyse Market updates and take the appropriate actions when needed (possible review with the management of operational procedures, account structure to be modified?)

  
  

• Contact the sub-custodians to obtain precisions on the procedures on relief at source and reclaim

  
  

• Answer to the requests of the account managers/spokes within deadlines (Tax, Income and Corporate Actions)

  
  

• Participate in the follow up of the activity (Account Managers / Tax log, sub custodian service log)

  
  

• Communicate all the relevant elements on the taxation and the procedures on the markets managed

  
  

• Participate in the improvement of the activity by providing ideas to handle specific processes and solutions to reduce the operational risk

  
  

• Initiate reclaims when the relief at source was missed or upon client?s request

  
  

• Process tax refunds

  
  

• Send breakdowns to our sub custodians within the deadlines

  
  

• Send on time BPSS documentation to our sub-custodians

  
  

• Follow the accountancy (breaks, comments within KDE/Ambre & Intellimatch?)

  
  

• Complete daily the task-lists on accountancy & on the activity

  
  

• Provide indicators of the activity (KPI)

  
  

• Participate to the training of new recruits

  
  

PROFILE

• Proficient in English, French preferable

  
  

• Bachelor degree in relevant area

  
  

• Professional experience in banking operations preferable
