ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior KYC officer is one of the process stakeholders who intervenes in the client life cycle as part of the KYC Due Diligence.

Acting as a bridge between Data officers / Screener and the Compliance and Relationship managers, the Senior KYC officer is responsible for ensuring that customers due diligence have been conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies & guidelines.

• Overviews the full client KYC file analysis, endorsing the 1st level of control of KYC process (excluding investigator's analysis and data controller's scope), and substantiating the KYC analysis review with a memo

• Ensures that all documents and information collected as part of the Due Diligence process are compliant and reliable to determine the final risk level of the client relationship

• Ensures that performed Due diligence are in accordance with the risk level of the client relationship

• Ensures the executional-related coordination such as interaction between the Master site and the Extension site to share KYC-oriented information about files (e.g. waivers or hits)

Contribution to the decision process (onboarding + recertification)

• Performs a factual based-analysis of the file assessing the completeness and compliance of the KYC file with the KYC Policy and includes the investigator conclusions if any

• When applicable, he organizes the Client Acceptance Committee (CAC) meetings
