Our mission is to make orthodontics more accessible and affordable through technology.

Straight Teeth Direct? is backed by industry experts including Founders Factory, Europe?s hottest startup up accelerator program based in London (started by Brent Hoberman, co-founder of lastminute.com and Made.com).


In 2019 we launched our first OOH campaign in the London underground and started our retail presence with a corner in London?s leading department store; Selfridges. This year, we have introduced our sister company; Instant Dentist, to add a health and dental wellbeing dimension to our business. The business is growing in a very exciting direction this year and we?re looking for the next team member to embark on this journey with us.



About you


You are in your last year or fresh out of university and looking for an environment that puts your digital marketing knowledge into real work scenarios. You are hungry to learn the newest tactics and benchmark practices in marketing, all while developing skills and tools a classroom can?t teach. With this internship, you want to grow and start your path to a career in marketing.

About the role


What is growth marketing?

In a nutshell, you'll be involved in helping us grow our user base and brand awareness. This means running thoughtful, metric-driven user acquisition experiments and taking a role in executing our marketing strategy. You'd also help out with various aspects of product marketing and interpreting user feedback to help increase our conversion rates.


What you will get from this growth internship?


You will get an in-depth understanding of maintaining, building and optimising marketing strategies from start to finish. You will learn how to navigate within important tools/platforms like Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Facebook Business Manager and our Marketing CRM platform. You will interact with other teams in the company, like customer success and operations, to make sure all aspects of the customer journey run smoothly as well as attend meetings with external partners.


This is a unique opportunity for a savvy and capable young professional to join a high performing team building the next big direct to the consumer success story.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on various marketing campaigns

  • Assist with various outbound activities including paid advertising, email marketing, landing pages, and marketing automation

  • Research projects
  • Gather and analyse consumer behavior data (e.g. web traffic and rankings)

  • Other special projects

Requirements

  • A mix of quantitative and creative thinking

  • In the final year or recently graduated from a BA in marketing or a related discipline

  • Proactive & self-directed (i.e. can take general direction and run with it)

  • Growth mindset, always willing to learn

  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills and advanced written English

  • Embrace challenges and thrive in high pressure environments

  • Familiarity with some of the tools on this list (Google Docs, Gmail, Trello, Slack, Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics, MailChimp)

  • Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and software
